Internal Hemorrhoids: Usually painless,these are inside the rectum and may bleed during bowel movements or pile mass come out in later stages. External Hemorrhoids: These can be felt or seen around the outside of the anus and may cause pain and discomfort.

Hemorrhoids can cause various symptoms, including pain, bleeding, itching per anal orifice probably during bowel movements. You might notice blood on toilet paper or in the toilet bowl. Straining during bowel movements, prolonged sitting on the toilet, obesity, and pregnancy are common factors that can contribute to the development of hemorrhoids. Factors that increase the risk of developing hemorrhoids include a family history of the condition, aging, and conditions that lead to increased pressure on the rectum.

In siddha medicine Piles is referred as Moola Noi in Aruvai Maruthuvam. Various Siddhars classified this disease in different forms. Siddhar Therayar classified moolanoi into ten varieties. It is observed that a clear vision was there in classifying and treating this problem in the ancient days. Some of the varieties of Moola Noi is said Curable and some others clearly declared as Not Curable. As a Siddha Physician, we examine the patient personally and analyzing for better benefit to the affected individuals. We get excellent result for Moola Noi with effective internal medicines and external applications.
